Canadian Abstract Painter

MOORE GALLERY

ARTIST DEALER STORY - BUILDING LASTING RELATIONSHIPS

Over the years Moore Gallery worked with the most historically important Canadian artists including Riopelle, Molinari, Town, Ronald, Weiland, Snow...to name just a few.

In early 2000 Dan Solomon (gallery artist) who was a professor at the Ontario College of Art and Design introduced me to Cynthia Chapman, a young artist coming out of the college.  I did a studio visit and instantly loved and bought her work....and felt she could be part of the next generation of important painters.

Cynthia's work was admired by many Canadian collectors and we had sell out shows in Toronto.  Today Cynthia is in her mid forties and this exhibition at John Mann's John Mann Gallery (formerly 13th Street Gallery) is a collection of her works that will impress many...and recommend to anyone who loves and buys art to add Cynthia's work to their collection...her control of paint and colour is unbelievable.

Cynthia Chapman is on her way to becoming a very important artist in Canadian Art History.
